TEHRAN — The Philippine Embassy in Tehran is transferring to a new location in upper Alef street, Mahmoudieh, northern Tehran, and ready to receive clients and hold operations starting 16 September 2022.
The Embassy’s new address is: Building No. 13, Alef St., Mahmoudieh district, Tehran City. It has two entrances:one in Alef street for consular clients (passport, visa, authentication, etc.), and the second gate in Shiraz street for other Embassy visitors and guests.
“The Chancery building’s modest yet modern structural design accords the Philippines a very dignified presence in Tehran. Beyond the primary objective of serving the public better, the transfer to this new location signals a renewed commitment to forging stronger ties between the Philippines and Iran. We have high expectations that this Chancery building will serve as witness to more activities for enhancing Philippines-Iran relations, as well as to our initiatives for the interest of the growing number of Filipinos and the Filipino-Iranian Community in Iran, in the years to come,” noted Chargé d’affaires Roberto G. Manalo.
The new location is easily accessible by taxis and Iran’s TNVS Snapp!, and only a few minutes walk from the mini-bus stops on Moghaddas Ardebili street and bus stations near Palladium Shopping Center.
The vicinity of the Chancery offers more spaces for street parking and is surrounded by a number of banks and commercial establishments for the convenience of consular clients. END
